Greater Toledo's American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing assisance to those in need. The Red Cross provides disaster assistance, community disaster education, first aid and CPR training, lifeguard training, babysitter classes, HIV/AIDS education, youth leadership activities, volunteer opportunities, and Telecare services.Those associated with the Red Cross provide such great help to victims in need. This whole organization is based on caring for others and saving lives.

Through this chapter of the Red Cross the Toledo community can sign up to be a volunteer or to take or teach a training class. Another important aspect is that anyone can make a generous donation of any kind that will help save lives every day. The American Red Cross wants to prepare and help people as much as possible for disasters that may occur. The Red Cross relies on contributions made by individuals.
